Ask People...it's that Simple!
Hello Northbrook Rotarians. Here are the details you need to successfully sell our raffle tickets:
- ASK people! Yes, it really is that simple. Those people might include neighbors, friends, relatives, colleagues, etc.
- Sign up to sell at various locations around town. Thanks to the efforts of Helen Rivkin, we have five places that will welcome Rotarians. The details on when and where, and how to sign up, are included in the following link:
- If you are a corporate (group) member of our club, the request to sell a minimum of $100 worth of tickets is for all of your sales combined, not for individual corporate members.
- Posters advertising our event have been put up around town, and more will go up in the next few days. People recognize this annual event as something good for Northbrook.
- By next Tuesday, if not sooner, you should all receive a simple spreadsheet where you will record your sales by cash and check. (You do not need to record the on-line sales, that will be done automatically.) That spreadsheet should be submitted to Sandy Frum either electronically on at a Tuesday meeting. Please do this every week if you have sales that week, as we cannot expect Sandy to input thousands of ticket buyers on the day before the race!
That should do it for now. If we all pitch in, we can make this event a huge success.
