Jodi's report: We had a great turnout! We made sandwiches and prepared 50 full lunches for people in need via Connections for the Homeless. Along with many Rotarians and other guests, we had a handful of GBN Spartan Service Club members help! Food insecurity doesn’t shut down when the government does. We’re anticipating a huge influx of neighbors turning to our food pantries for their groceries because of the government shutdown and the loss of SNAP benefits starting November 1. 2121 Dewey Avenue
