WORLD POLIO DAY OCTOBER 24TH & MORE

A PROCLAMATION regarding World Polio Day was presented at the Tuesday, October 12th, Village Board meeting in the Sandra Frum Board Room at 1225 Cedar Lane. Thank you to Sandy and Carlos Frum who will accept the proclamation on behalf of Ron Knight and the club the day after.

Therefore, the Village of Northbrook hereby proclaims October 24, 2021 as World Polio Day in Northbrook and encourages all citizens to join Rotary International in the fight for a polio-free world.

Talk to your friends, employees, neighbors about Polio! District 6440 Governor Ken Stevens is challenging us: "This week we are pleased (and dare I say proud) to present a bold new program to help you all elevate your End Polio Now (EPN) game, as I proposed in my previous message.   Monday October 18th is the launch date for the District 6440 Polio Plus Society.  I personally invite you to become a charter member by pledging and donating a minimum of $100 to the Polio Plus fund before June 30th of 2022. Complete program  information will hit your email inbox on Monday!" Look for his email!

Join us at our Tuesday meeting to hear John Nanni: 3 P's in my Life: Polio; Post Polio Syndrome; Rotary's Polio Plus. PLEASE INVITE GUESTS to this event.
