Andy Vass reports: The “Satellite Club” has launched!
Last week the new club met at Marcello's in the evening for inductions. Club members Gary and Bev Moriello, Rick and Helen Rivkin, Mitch Portugal, Jim Karagianis, Judy and Andy Vass and Denis Polina joined in the celebration along with District Governor Bill Kmiecik, Past District Governor Lyle Staab, and District Membership Chair Angela Walker.
The agenda included introductions, a discussion of recent and current Service Projects; including an opportunity to serve adults with disabilities, and providing financial literacy for kids.
- Governor Bill then inducted all ten new Satellite club members.
- Andy passed out new member pamphlets.
- We will be meeting on the second and fourth Thursday evenings at 5:30 in downtown Northbrook.
