| COMING UP: - Brian gave a detailed discussion regarding a casino night. A lot of club participation will be necessary for this event. There was no motion to do a casino night.
- Next, we decided on a raffle and Bingo Night.
- Tickets will be $50.00 for the raffle and entitle each purchaser to one bingo card.
- It was not decided what additional cards will cost.
- Food and drinks will be available,
- The raffle prize will be $1500, and the bingo prizes will be lottery tickets, gift cards and maybe two for one gift cards from restaurants.
- Each Rotarian will be required to sell or purchase $150.00 of raffle tickets.
- Beverly will do a Super Bowl grid; prizes will be same as last year. Squares will be $10.00. Sales will start at our 1/9/2024 meeting.
- Sandy will poll the club to determine if we want to continue with The Pancake Breakfast. If we decide to do it, we should invite Sam Reiss to our February or March Board meeting to present the Village's view on having breakfast. If the club and Village approve the breakfast.
- Lastly, Rick presented a short video by Michael Angelo Caruso. In the video Caruso states that he will do a Leadership seminar for us which will net $10,000.00 for our club. We first need to determine when Caruso is available. I will do this. Next, we need to find a venue. The auditorium at the library was suggested. After the meeting I thought that maybe we could do it at the Hilton in lieu of one of our weekly meetings. Tickets would be $100.00 for the seminar and if we did a lunch meeting, there would be an additional charge.
