Rotary Club News

Bev Moriello illustrates the power of one!

She had an idea to address the Ukraine tragedy, by creating awareness of the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, and driving donations to the Rotary Ukraine initiative.

Her vision is to dress up the Village in bows, that encourage donations to come full circle. Rep. Jonathan Carroll’s team is participating along with the Village of Northbrook and Park District.

For a $10 donation to the Rotary Humanitarian Relief in Ukraine donors will have their name added to the bows. This fun option will encourage people to find their name, take selfies and post to social media.

The other benefit of this project is to illustrate what Rotary is about to community members who might want to donate or JOIN!

Thank you Elly Fawcett-Neal, Outreach coordinator for working on this poster (it's not done yet) but Rep. Carroll's office will help with the social media!
Thank you, Rick Rivkin, for updating our Jotform to include this option!

Therefore, we can encourage people to go to our website directly -which is easier for most of us. Then they can check off their choice of donation – and the club will manage it. We are fortunate to have a legitimate option for people to help in Ukraine.
