About Marvin:  Marvin joined the John Maxwell Team in 2016. As an Executive Director of The John Maxwell Team, he is certified to facilitate, speak, train and coach individuals and groups in the areas of leadership development, professional skills, and personal growth.  He was trained and mentored by John Maxwell himself as well as the mentors of his world-class faculty,  He has more than 25 years of corporate leadership experience in government affairs, human resources, and training and development. My most recent experience was as the Midwest regional director of state and local government affairs for a Fortune 100 pharmaceutical firm. In this role, he supported the legislative and regulatory interest at the federal, state, and local levels.  Before this, he was the senior manager of organizational development for the engineering division of a major healthcare company. 

Marvin has served the community in a variety of civic and leadership roles and received many awards for leadership, volunteerism, and community service. Among them are:
