Race Director Lyle Staab led a recap and celebration of this year's Rotary Race for Charity at our meeting on October 11th. The highlight was the presentation of donations from the club to the four charities with continuous participation greater than five years, in appreciation of our enduring partnership. We reviewed the results of the survey sent out to participants, discussed what well well and could be improved, and were thanked for providing the opportunity the Race presents to small charities in the community. We were honored to be joined by representatives of four of our partner charities - Katie Lowitzki of Exodus World Service, Dave Charlton of the Christopher Steele Foundation, Susan Urbanski of the Mothers' Milk Bank, and Brenda Miller of the Riverside Foundation. Representatives of a number of our sponsors - Toyoda, Huber Financial, Historic Downtown Long Grove, Runners Hi 'n Tri, Associates for General Dentistry, and Riehn Insurance - were also in attendance. Thanks to all for their support and participation.
