DO YOU KNOW AN OUTSTANDING HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT? Then nominate them to attend RYLA - Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. It’s directed at high school students who could benefit from realizing their potential.

Thousands of young people around the world participate in this program, which emphasizes leadership skills, personal development, and citizenship. Our local RYLA is an all-expense paid, three day camp for talented young people across northern Illinois. There are two sessions in early 2017: March 9-12 and April 6-9.

Our Club is hoping to sponsor at least three young people this year. Without exception, the students we’ve sent previously return motivated and grateful. All we ask is that they attend one of our meetings to tell us about their experience.

If you'd like to learn more, see the brochure and video at http://rotary6440.org/Stories/ryla-applications-now-being-accepted. And if you'd like to apply, we ask you to download our Club's form at http://tinyurl.com/h9fuctn.

Applications should be submitted by the end of January, but we will consider those received after that date.
