St. Matthew Church Thanksgiving Day Dinner

On behalf of the Rotary Club of Long Grove, Kildeer, and Hawthorn Woods, Jim and Marilyn Dopler delivered 200 pounds of Butterball turkeys to St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Hawthorn Woods.  The food will be used for their upcoming Thanksgiving Day Community Dinner, which last year served over 125 local residents.  Jim Dopler also helped out in the kitchen on Tuesday with preparation of some side dishes to go along with the traditional Holiday meal.  He also brought along ten assorted pumpkin, apple and pecan pies to add to the dessert table.  These were also sponsored by the Club.
