HAITI - what can YOU do?
Lincolnshire Morning Star Rotary is partnering with ShelterBox to provide critically needed shelter and supplies for the disaster victims in Haiti.
ShelterBox is an international disaster relief charity that delivers emergency shelter, warmth and dignity to people affected by disaster worldwide. They are frequently one of the first relief organizations on the scene.

Each box supplies an extended family of up to 10 people with a tent and essential equipment to use while they are displaced or homeless. The contents are tailored depending on the nature and location of the disaster, with great care taken sourcing every item to ensure it is robust enough to be of lasting value.

The cost of a box is just under $1,000, including delivery direct to those who need it. Highly trained ShelterBox Response Teams distribute boxes on the ground, working closely with local organizations, international aid agencies and Rotary clubs worldwide.
Any amount you give will help, or you can use the following guide:
- $50 will provide 1/20 of a ShelterBox
- $100 will provide 1/10 of a ShelterBox
- $250 will provide 1/4 of a ShelterBox
- $500 will provide 1/2 of a ShelterBox
