The Rotary Club of Lincolnshire in partnership with the District 103 Learning Fund Foundation will once again be offering the Lincolnshire Rotary Scholarships. In 2016, two more scholarships of $2,500 each will be awarded to graduating seniors who: graduated from Daniel Wright Junior High School, demonstrate extraordinary service to the community, and uphold the ideals of Rotary. The primary criteria for selection are: demonstrated leadership qualities, academic excellence, school service, and community service.
To support this effort, a Gift-Checkbook is now available for sale in the community containing up to 29 Gift-checks from local merchants worth over $400.00 . . . FOR JUST $30.00!!!. There is no minimum purchase required and each Gift Check can be used toward a purchase the same as cash.
The Gift-Checkbook provides local merchants the opportunity to advertise at no expense and attract new customers, offers a tremendous value to the patron while supporting this exciting scholarship program: a Win-Win-Win program.
