Students and parents chattered about community service accomplishments and lofty goals for university classes at the Huntley Rotary Scholarship breakfast, held May 11th at Village Inn on Huntley Square. Six scholarships, totaling $3,000, were awarded for academic assistance, including our annual Thom Palmer Parks & Recreation scholarship.
Laura Martens, College and Career Counselor and Thom Palmer, retired Director of Huntley Area Park District, also celebrated the student’s accomplishments.
