Huntley’s Mayor, Tim Hoeft’s, opening statement at the December 16th Wreaths Across America ceremony, included “We celebrate the mission to Remember the fallen, Honor those that serve and their families, and Teach the next generation the value of freedom.”
Over 4,000 cemeteries across the country celebrated at about the same time as we honored over 400 veterans in the Huntley and St. Mary’s cemeteries. Many families arrived with children of all ages to help them understand that the veterans helped us retain our freedom.
Rotary helps Fair visitors learn that Polio is still active in the world and Rotary is donating to eliminate it. Rotary clubs of Cary-Grove, Crystal Lake, Fox Valley Sunset, Huntley, McHenry & Woodstock host the Rotary Booth to share their community involvement and programs. Rotarians donated part of their booth to support Refuge for Women. Joe Turner & Laura Franz help kids win prizes. Are you looking to give back to your community? Start with Rotary.

$10 from every couple and $25 from every table’s registration all proceeds from the evening’s silent auction, will support the Rotary Club of Huntley!
Suggested Event Attire: Ladies, some ideas include poodle skirts and blouses with chiffon neck scarves, bobby socks, saddle shoes and cat eye glasses. Fellas, think Grease costumes or don a bowling shirt with some slacks and saddle shoes or loafers.

The pollinator garden at Tomaso Park's entrance will be in full bloom before we know it. Wm. A Ruth Green Farms coordinated the planting of the 2025 Pollinator Garden for the Village of Huntley, Huntley Park District and Rotary Club of Huntley and oversaw selection of native flowers and bushes to provide protection and nourishment for local birds, insects, bees, and small animals to help balance our environment.

Five Rotary Clubs gathered with their incoming presidents at Elgin Country Club, June 17, and were installed by Rotary District 6440 District Governor, Thor Davidson. Glenn Morgenroth-Dundee Township, John Skillman-Carpentersville, Maggie Beyer-Elgin Breakfast, Justin Genz and Hannah Reynolds-Elgin Noon, and Karen Hutchings-Huntley, all proudly accepted their offices in a lovely dining room overlooking the golf course.
Huntley Rotary joined in the fun at the Rockin' Rotary Ribfest this year to sell roasted corn and raise money for local charity. The best ribs in the Midwest were featured during this four-day festival located at Sunset Park in Lake in the Hills. Live bands and great food made for a spectacular weekend of fun. Thanks to all who came out to support local Rotary clubs and Rotary International.
Hungry campers were served a hot pancake and sausage breakfast by rotarians after the annual Huntley Park District camp-out held on Friday, October 2 at Deicke Park.
