Greg Alexander spent two weeks in northern Spain last year walking the Trail to El Camino Santiago. Greg hiked 260 kilometers of the 500-kilometer trail with severe blisters from his third day, along with beautiful scenery along the Mediterranean Sea
Greg signed up to fulfill a dream and to reach a goal. He recommended watching “The Way”, a Martin Sheen movie which shows some of the trail as he highlighted his experience for the Huntley Rotary club.
Although the El Camino isn’t for everyone, you can enjoy Running of the Elves 5K and walk and kids’ dash on December 2, 2023, in downtown Huntley as part of Very Merry Huntley.
