You an help save the birds, Monarch butterflies, insects and other pollinators by creating a garden at your business or planting a pot of flowers on your deck.

Celebrate Pollinator Week in a small way or big way. Just think of your area and cover some basics before planting. Is your garden area sunny, partly sunny or mostly shade?  Select plants that fit the sun level. Turn the dirt, add a little peat moss and healthy fertilizer then select your local plants. Why? Because our flowers and farms depend on pollinators to survive.

Visit our pollinator garden at Parisek Park, next to the Huntley Library.  This year the Village of Huntley and Huntley Park District will again work with Huntley Rotary to create a new garden at Borhart Park. We will be planting soon, so watch it grow.
About once or twice a year, we plan to send a follow-up email, if you wish, with  updates and options that may be helpful.  Join us and save the pollinators.
