Awards were presented September 19, 2020 at the 20th Anniversary celebration of the Rotary Club of Huntley. 

“There Ought to Be More People Like This” Award:  Mary Holzkopf, owner of Blessed Little Kitchen.  “Heroic Heart of Gold Fundraiser” Award: Bryant Haniszewski, founding member of Fall Fest and organizer of St. Baldrick’s Foundation fundraiser.       “Outstanding Business Leader” Award: Sean Cratty, Treasurer of the Huntley Library Board, and member of the D158 Foundation Board.  “Beautification/Environmental Hero” Award: Tim Dorsey, President of the Parkview Townhomes Homeowners Association.  “Best Neighbor’s Neighbor” Award: Bob Wyler, nominated by his neighbors for his generous gifts of time and talent.

Historic highlights were described by Past President, Jim Uszler. President, Tetyana Torzhevska welcomed guests, members, and friends to the event at Jameson's Drendel Ballroom. Recognition was given to sponsors: Coyote Auto Repair, Alliance Contractors, McDonalds-Huntley, Huntley Collision Center, Incredible Builders, James A O’Connor Funeral Home and Algonquin Road Surgery Center.                        Honored guests included District 6440 District Governor Lyle Staab and Mary Ann, PDG Suzanne Gibson and Mark, DG Elect Kevin Stevens and Alisa and DG Nominee Bill Kmiecik and Betsy.
