Lake County Fielders Baseball

At the March 15th meeting of the Grayslake Rotary Club (held at the Lake County Farm Bureau, courtesy of Greg Koeppen) the club heard a presentation on the development of a professional minor league baseball stadium in Zion.  Mike Beauvais, VP of Sales for the Lake County Fielders, detailed the plans for the team, with emphasis on the ongoing project of building a stadium in Zion, to open in June 2010.  The stadium will be family-friendly, and will feature three distinguished group party decks, a stadium club, a banquet facility, and a permanent concert stage.  Owned in part by actor Kevin Costner, the Lake County Fielders Stadium holds promise as a great baseball and social venue for Lake County residents in the near future.
