Grayslake Rotary Hosts HealthReach

Jim Bell hosted Jim Zimmerman, of HealthReach Inc., as our guest speaker at the Oct 25th Grayslake Rotary Club meeting. Jim detailed the activities of the not-for-profit agency in its mission to provide access to free safety net healthcare services to medically underserved residents of Lake County, a number that ranges between 100,000 and 200,000 people. The agency operates free clinics in Waukegan and Mundelein, and a licensed pharmacy in Libertyville. With 90% of their patients representing minority and immigrant populations, HealthReach provides medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy services to under-insured and uninsured people in an attempt to meet their healthcare needs.
