Meeting Thursday
Our meeting Thursday will be in the lower level cafeteria area. The program will be a welcome to the year and an overview from the International Convention.
Meeting Responsibilities
As I mentioned at Club Assembly a few weeks back, I am asking club members to take a greater role in meeting responsibilities. Rather than a sign-up sheet periodically, I am going to assign tasks to club members. ClubRunner (the software that the club uses for Rotary Club management) allows assignments to be made and for you to view them. The assignments should also be at the beginning of each issue of Rotopep. I will publish list of assignments at the beginning of each month for the next eight weeks. If you are unable to take on responsibility because of a planned absence, please find your own replacement and let me know.
Everyone in the club will get to do an inspiration, be Sergeant at Arms, be a Greeter (perhaps twice or three times during year) and be the Scribe for the meeting to include highlights in Rotopep. In addition, each week there will be a Rotarian of the Week. The next eight week calendar will be out this week.
Meeting RSVP
I will be sending out an email from ClubRunner each week asking that every member let us know if they plan to attend the Thursday meeting. Your RSVP helps us better manage lunch costs.
2015-16 Committees
Thank you for letting me know your committee preferences. I will have final draft list of committee assignments out this week. I would appreciate getting any change requests by the meeting Thursday and final list will be out after that.
Club Assembly Planned for July 23
There will be a Club Assembly on Thursday July 23 to discuss plans for the club in the coming year. I urge you all to attend.
