Don’t miss our special musical performance on April 23!

On April 23, our meeting will be a special musical program from the Music Institute of Chicago. The program, by 14-year-old violin prodigy Julian Rhee, will be held in the Rotary International Auditorium on the third floor of the RI building, from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. We will have an abbreviated meeting in the atrium outside the auditorium between noon and 12:30 p.m.

The public is invited to this free event and we have also sent special invitations to all tenants of the Rotary building inviting them to join us. Though reservations are not required, we are strongly encouraging guests to reserve a seat. They can do so by visiting our webpage at www.evanstonrotary.org or calling 847-475-1283.

Julian Rhee is a very talented violinist and he will be introduced by Mark George, President and CEO of the Music Institute. Please plan on bringing friends and potential club members to this event!

We will be partnering with the Rotary Club of Evanston Lighthouse on Saturday, April 25, to clean up a house at 1817 Emerson Street in Evanston.

Our club has had a good turnout in the past and we hope you will join in again. Among other things, we will clean out part of basement and yard, remove carpeting, replace smoke detectors, clean the kitchen, do some simple painting and make a few minor repairs.

We will have a sign-up sheet at the April 16 meeting -- please volunteer!

Paul Giddings Going Away

We’re all saddened by the news that Paul and Cease Giddings are moving to Houston!
