The Rotary Club of Evanston Charitable Fund presented checks to two local organizations to support their efforts at reducing hateful speech and intolerant behavior among youth on Thursday, July 25 at Rotary headquarters in downtown Evanston. The Center for Independent Futures and the Evanston Public Library received $2,500 each for special programs that will launch later this year.

Accompanying the grant recipients were representatives of Byline Bank, Hagerty Consulting, NorthShore University HealthSystem and Romano Brothers & Co. Wealth Management, who funded this year’s Rotary grants.
