The Rotary Club of Elk Grove Village is proud to be part of Rotary and the fight against Polio. The Club makes contributions to Rotary every year to end the paralyzing virus. Polio was at one time effecting children all around the world including here in the USA. Rotary has contributed more than $2.9 billion to fight Polio as well as countless volunteer hours since launching its Polio Plus Program in 1985. When the initiative launched there were 350,000 cases of Polio every year. Today, the incidence of Polio has plummeted by more than 99.9%
