Elk Grove Village had their annual Oktoberfest on September 17 and 18. This has become a tradition in the village and it was all the idea of Mr. Jeffery Charles Franke back during the Village Anniversary. It has gotten bigger and better every year. The Rotary Club volunteers to help at the event and organizes and serves all of the alcohol. This year the best selling beer was authentic from Germany Spaten Oktoberfest.
