The Dundee Township club along with members of neighboring clubs including Elgin, Carpentersville and Huntley were enthralled by a presentation on by Mr. Dan Spungen on the Holocaust.

Mr. Spungen's work is not just about the Nazi Holocaust, but all instances of genocide.

You can visit Mr. Spungen's website at www.spungenfoundation.org.

Mr. Spungen substituted for Mr. Sam Harris who was ill.  Mr. Harris is a a Holocaust survivor and founder of the Skokie (Illinois) Holocaust Museum.

Mr. Spungen is an individual collector of Holocaust memorabilia.  His collection focuses on philatelic items and is probably unique in the world.

In addition to stamps, postcards, letters, and the like, Mr. Spungen had examples of forged British banknotes and fake dollar currency printed on the back with Nazi propaganda.
