Club Assembly

Today's meeting was Club Assembly.  The following items were discussed:
  • The Cary-Grove Food Pantry is in need of volunteers for this week's distribution. (See article for more information)
  • The club will be sponsoring the "Shop with a Cop" program sponsored by the McHenry County Sheriff's Dept.  (See article for more information)
  • Century Raffle - this year's reverse raffle will be held at Galati's on March 16th.  (See article for more information)
  • Jack reported that a chairperson is needed for the Scholarship committee.  Jack will mentor that person this year, but will relinquish his role as chairperson when he steps up to Club President next year. 
  • Christmas Party - This year's Christmas Party will be held at The Onion Pub on December 10th. (See article for more information)
  • Strategic Plan (See article for more information)
  • Interact - The students are collecting used or new iPods and Nanos for distribution to Three Oaks Assisted Living.  Also looking for leftover candy for distribution to Veterans.  Deliver both to the High School Office.
  • Sue discussed a "pay-it-forward" opportunity.  (See article for more information)
