Three Oaks Assisted Living Facility

At today's meeting, Marty Munns and Renee Gutowsky gave a presentation on the new Three Oaks Assisted Living Facility which is located at the intersection of Three Oaks Road and Silver Lake Road. The facility is scheduled to open in late April or early May.

The facility will have eleven floor plans that include spacious studio units as well as one and two-bedroom apartment homes. Features include 24-hour emergency staffing and individual climate control for each unit. In addition to the five-star quality cuisine chef on staff, the facility will also have a Health & Wellness center. As stated in their literature, "The Assisted Living Program has been designed to offer assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)." Trained staff will help determine the best program for each resident. "Our goal is to meet each resident's individual needs while maintaining the highest level of choices."

Programs for the residents will be a regular occurrence, such as the one scheduled for Saturday, January 28th. Presented by Deb Gulbranson of Cary Physical Therapy, the topic will feature women's health issues, preventing osteoporosis and maintaining a proper diet and exercise.
