Rotarian Dr. Steven Steinberg spoke at the Rotary Club of Cary-Grove's weekly meeting today.  Dr. Steinberg is a dentist who has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.  he is the author of "Light, Love, Life, Shalom", a book that speaks about "Your Path to Happiness at Work and at Home".

Dr. Steinberg's message deals with finding happiness through the challenges that we all encounter on a daily basis.  He adovocates that we "find this happiness through the healing power of values".  While healing is different from curing, he stresses that we all have the ability to overcome our hardships "by staying focused on the power of purpose".

In his talk today, Dr. Steinberg stressed that there are two ways to deal with life's challenges.  One way is to become a victim and do nothing.  Go through life constantly asking, "why me"?  The other is to become a victor and to apply our energies toward finding a solution.  "Right the wrong, or focus on eliminating the evil" is the result of the power of purpose.

Dr. Steinberg is convinced that each of us is placed here on earth to help someone in need ot the special "purpose" that we all possess.  As we enter this Holiday Season, what a wonderful message to share with others.  To learn more about Dr. Steinberg's works, visit his website at http://www.valuesdoctor.com.
