Shop with a Cop

At out last meeting, we discussed the Shop With a Cop Program and the Club decided that the Club will match member contributions up to a maximum total of $500. We did the same thing last year.

Amy Knop from The McHenry County Sheriff's, "Shop With a Cop" program, will be the speaker at our December 1 meeting. We thought it would be nice to present Amy with a check, maybe even get a photo with her and the "BIG CHECK" at this meeting. Since we won't be meeting before December 1st, Steve C. suggested that members wanting to donate, pledge/commit to donate to Shop With a Cop to him, and then he could have a check ready to present to Amy. If you plan to donate to Shop With a Cop, please let Steve know by Tuesday November 27th, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.

On Saturday, November 19th from 6:00 PM to Midnight, the McHenry County Police Charities, will be hosting their 10th Annual Networking Fundraiser at the VFW on Route 120 in McHenry. There will be Raffles, Live and Silent Auction Items, Food Buffet, Music, etc. There is a $5 Cover Charge and is open to the Public.
