Rotary Club Celebrates the Holidays
Today's meeting of the Rotary Club of Cary-Grove was a celebration with family and friends.
Guests were treated to an omelet bar, table favors and the musical talents of Clare Kelly. In addition to being this year's Decker Scholarship winner, Clare was also co-president of the Cary-Grove High School's Interact Club. She is currently attending Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI.
Sue Maifield reminded members of the importance in contributing to the Foundation and other not for profit organizations needing support at this time of year. For those wishing to make donations, please remember the Rotary Foundation and Gil's upcoming "First Dance" which will be held on February 12, 2012.
Sue also presented advancement pins to Pat Flanagain for becoming a Paul Harrs+3 and to Linda Trexler for becoming a Paul Harris+4. Congratulations to both and to all who have supported the Rotary Foundation and the End Polio Now Campaign throught 2011.
