The new officers for The Rotary Club of Cary-Grove were installed at its installation event, which was held at Lake Julian. The officers for the new year will be Dave Miller (President), Sue Maifield (Secretary), Bob Blumberg (Treasurer) and Steve Cherveny (President-Elect).

As part of the activities of the evening, outgoing President, Gil Gulbrandson, also recognized two local residents with the Jack Renskers Community of Hope Award. This award recognizes local residents that are not Rotarians, but volunteer their time and energies to promote the communities in which they live. Named in recognition for Rotarian and Founding Club Member, Jack Renskers, this year's recipients are Bob Miller and John Liaitaud. Also in attendance were this year's scholarship winners. Those students were officially recognized at the Awards ceremony held at the High School. This year, the club gave away $14,000 to individual scholarship recipents.
