Leadership Greater McHenry County

Visiting Rotarian Ryan Farrell gave a presentation to the Rotary Club of Cary-Grove on the Leadership opportunities offered by Leadership Greater McHenry County (LGMC). LGMC was founded in 2004 as a way of addressing the needs recognized throughout the county.
Its mission is "To educate and inspire professionals to engage in community leadership." Participants in the program contribute their time and talent over the course of a year to educate themselves on critical issues and on formulating corrective actions that can benefit the communities in which they live. The ideal candidate for this program is someone who is already a leader in his/her organization or business and is committed to the values of volunteerism.
A Candidate's Breakfast is being held for this year's applicants on April 26 at Crystal Lake County Club from 7:30am to 9:30am. Interested parties can fill out an application form from their website at http://www.leadershipgmc.org.
