Our club celebrated its accomplishments over the past year and installed the new officers for the 2018-19 Rotary Year on June 19th.  Immediate Past President Risinger took a moment to reflect on the club's accomplishments over the last year.  "I truly believe our club lived up to the 2017-18 Rotary slogan of 'Making a Difference'. Our members volunteered more than 1,000 hours of their time fundraising, and we donated more than $40,000 to the local community and through our international efforts," Risinger said. "It has been an honor to serve."

Shawn Collins, a Village of Buffalo Grove Fire Department battalion chief, was sworn in as the incoming president of the Buffalo Grove Rotary Club for 2018-2019. Collins succeeds Immediate Past President Ryan Risinger, the Buffalo Grove Park District executive director.  The newly installed executive board was also recognized, and includes President-Elect Bill Donahue, President Elect Designate Melanie Santostefano, Secretary Cathy Splett, Treasurer Brian Shepard and Directors Steve Balinski, Shannon O'Connor and Dan Wolf.
