Linda Hall and Judy Senase from Connect to Community, one of our grant recipients, were our speakers last week. They talked about their organization purpose of finding and facilitating purposeful employment for adults with development disabilities. They also talked about the support Rotary has given them to allow their young adults go to restaurants for them to learn socialization habits.  They recognized Rob Seitz of Kolbi Pipe Markers for being one of those people that has assisted in employment of 3 of their adults.

 

We had 2 tables, 12 Rotarians attend the GiveNKind trivia evening fund raiser. Unfortunately neither team won.

 

Look for an upcoming email about ordering BG Rotary apparel.  The online store will be open until May 20th and club members can order and pay for items online.  There will be no delivery charge because Martha will pick up the items and distribute them at our meetings.
