This Week's Meeting
This week is a business meeting, with a special viewing first of Bill Donahue's daughter and Ak' Tenamit 2-time veteran, Julia Donahue's 12min short film "Ak' Tenamit: The New Village of Guatemala" in lieu of Fun and Frolics.  She will also hold a quick Q&A and presentation afterwards.  Don't miss this!
 
Last Week's Meeting
Last week we had a joint meeting with the Arlington Heights Club, a club that we have partnered together for environmental projects.  We dedicated the Rotary Grove of trees in the arboretum in Reiner Park, and after a tour of the arboretum, hardy members of both clubs stayed and planted shrubs to add to the arboretum.

Applications Being Accepted for the Bill Reid Community Service Award

The Rotary Club of Buffalo Grove is taking applications for individuals for the Bill Reid Community Service Award.  The award is to be given to an individual whose long term community efforts have resulted in the enhancement, betterment and improved spirit of the Buffalo Grove community.   The late Bill Reid was a long time Village Trustee and a charter member of our Rotary Club.
