Craft Beer Festival - June 9
The Rotary Club of Buffalo Grove will be hosting its 2016 Craft Beer Festival on Thursday, June 9 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at County Line Tavern.  This year's event has been amped up with exciting sampling opportunities from Lagunitas, Founders, Firestone Walker and Revolution Brewing.  In addition, we will have craft apps prepared by County Line, all in the warm ambience of their new restaurant.  This is a great opportunity for you to showcase the great work our Rotary club does to a friend, neighbor or prospective member.  Tickets are $35.

Please see Rob Seitz or Dane Bragg if you have not gotten your tickets yet.  We also have tickets available online at the following address:

You can also use this link for social media posts and it will optimize for mobile devices and such.  Please note that there is a ticket surcharge for credit card purchases made through TicketLeap.  There is no surcharge for face-to-face sales of paper tickets.  County Line also has tickets available for purchase at the restaurant.

Please see Dane or Rob if you want printed flyers.

Otherwise, sell some beer tickets and we hope to see you at this year's Craft Beer Festival!  #bethechange

Thanks,
President-elect Dane

Last Week's Meeting
Last week Karina Ogawa from the American Cancer Society and Buffalo Grove High School's Interact President Kristina Dominguez spoke to us about the Relay for Life community event that will be held at Stevenson High School on June 10, starting at 7 pm.  This fund raiser is one of few in the country that are totally organized by students.  The Interact Clubs of both Stevenson High School and Buffalo Grove High Schools jointly plan and run this event.  Our club generously gave the students a contribution for their cause.

As they mentioned in their presentation, if you would like to join a team to experience this moving event, or donate to a specific team to help them reach their goal, you can support the Buffalo Grove Park District's team by clicking here or cutting and pasting main.acsevents.org/goto/bgparks .  Martha Weiss is the captain of this team, and you can ask her for details about the event.  Thanks for your support!!

Fran's Wish List During Her Exchange Year
Our exchange student, Fran, will be here in our community for 11 months and we asked her what she would like to do or see, because it seems that the exchange year goes very quickly.  Here is what she said

"Thank you for asking me about it, I know that maybe I won't do all of those things, but if I can do some them would be amazing"
