Last week Lisa gave us trivia about animals during FunNFrolics and we learned a lot.  Denny asked for a birthday solo from Nanette, and she obliged.  Our speaker was Amanda Bennett from Kindred Life Ministries that was formed to reach teen mothers and fathers with the support and services they desperately need to survive, then thrive.  Kindred Life is having a golf fundraiser at Chevy Chase Country Club on June 6th, and you can register for golf and dinner, or just dinner, at kindredlifeministries.org/golf/

We are proud of the hard work that members of our club and others did at Ak' Tenamit in Guatemala in the past week.  The volunteers completed a dining hall, kitchen and wood shed and delivered water filtration kits to villagers.  We applaud all of them - including member Dane and his son pictured below.
