Last week our youth exchange student Gabriel gave a wonderful presentation about himself and his country. He is having a great year and we are so happy to be hosting him jointly with the Wheeling Club. Enjoy the rest of your year, Gabriel, it goes quickly!
We also had Becca Heller as our guest. Becca is the leader of the 5th grade Girl Scout Troop from Prairie School who are partnering with us for our Free Little Library that will be installed in the spring at Martha Weiss Park. The girls are decorating the library by painting plants and butterflies to keep in theme with the park's butterfly garden and they are doing a great job! A spring dedication will be planned by the Outreach Committee.

"It’d be great if you guys could put the word out for collecting pencils, pens, white-board markers, regular and permanent markers, tylenol, antibiotic cream, cold meds, allergy meds, and band-aids for our students - All are in very short supply "

Thank you to Rosemary for taking Gabriel to the Field Museum, another destination to be taken off of his wish list! Gabriel would still like to experience the Shedd Aquarium and the Museum of Science and Industry and any other activity that you may be doing and would like to invite him to join you!
