Last week our speaker was Buffalo Grove Village President Beverly Sussman who informed us of the State of the Village. Thanks so much for attending our meeting, Beverly, and for including the contributions that our club makes to the community.
Our club had a very busy and successful BG Days thanks to the hard work of many of our members - Bingo, selling duck tickets at the booth, the parade, and of course, the duck race. Thanks to all who helped out and we will be looking forward to hearing how much we raised for our causes.
Our treasurer, Brian, went through the process of setting up Amazon Smile for the Rotary Foundation. Here is the link if you want to check it out: https://smile.amazon.com/ch/36-3653525
It's a great way to support our Foundation any time you are ordering from Amazon.
If you have signed up for the Continental Comedy Night on Saturday, Sept 14th, please pay $40 per person to Shannon either in cash or check at our meeting.
