We will also welcome Chrissy Trilling-Raices and Lauren Chilvers from OMNI, a Community Grant recipient who will also talk to us about their holiday drive that has already begun and our members have supported in the past.
OMNI's annual Holiday Gift Drive is back!
Last year, charitable givers helped us provide gifts to over 500 kids in OMNI's communities.
This year, we're hoping to match -and even exceed- that number by providing gifts to over 500 kids facing issues like poverty, domestic violence, mental health challenges, and other crises.
There are multiple ways to give for every budget, time commitment, and level of involvement!
Groups are welcome to join in on the fun too!

Adopt a child...or ten!
The most popular way to give during our
Holiday Gift Drive is to "adopt" a local child.
OMNI provides the name, age, and wishlist of child.
You provide the gift(s)! On average, givers spend $50 per adoptee. Charitable givers have until Monday, December 12 to shop and drop-off or ship gifts (wrapped or unwrapped) directly to OMNI's Buffalo Grove location at:
Next week we will be jointly sponsoring our Thanksgiving food basket event with the Wheeling Rotary Club - please click here for the sign up sheet to help on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. It is a great community event.
Last week our District Governor, Bill Kmiecik, from the Arlington Heights Club, was our guest speaker. He attended the Board Meeting prior to our regular meeting also. Thank you Bill for your inspiration and insights into what being a Rotarian is and encouraging us to support our Rotary Foundation.
