Last week one of our community grant winners, Buffalo Grove's CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) sent a representative to tell us about the important volunteer work that they train for. The CERT team is comprised of residents and others who work in the Village, and who assist in the neighborhood or workplace following an event when professional responders are not immediately available to help.
Also, our new member Greg Pike gave his classification speech and told us about his career, his family and his background. Glad to have you in our club, Greg!

They will take your order (that you pay for on the site) until midnight October 6th. The cost shown for the item includes the personalization and taxes. I will pick up the items and give them out at our meeting, so no shipping cost.
If you want something that is not listed, please contact the vendor, Melon Ink, because they have been very helpful in setting this up and will accommodate us. Also, they have said that if you own an item of clothing that you want our logo on, they will personalize it.
