Bo is keeping us up-to-date on Pete's recovery after surgery. The sunshine committee will be sending him something and Martha will be distributing a card for him on Thursday. Keep him in your thoughts as he recovers. Here is what his employees wrote on Facebook as they keep the restaurant going, and ask for patience and continued support:
On the 13th of August Pete suffered an accident where he collapsed and injured himself. We want to let you know that he is okay. The consensus was that his body was overworked and it was his own way of telling himself that he needed a break. Although everything is fine internally, he did sustain multiple injuries to the face that required him to have surgery which took place this past Monday. The good news is that everything went well, and the doctors are optimistic about a fast recovery. That being said, it is still critical for him to rest and take time off, so we are hoping he will be back to 100% in about 6-8 weeks.
