Thanks for letting me talk about the Foundation. I’d like to reinforce a few giving opportunities we discussed that are available to Buffalo Grove Rotarians. 1) If you’re NOT a Paul Harris Fellow, your donation of $250 will be matched by $250 from the club’s foundation, and then again with points from the Blane Foundation, to get you there; 2) If you ARE a Paul Harris Fellow, your donation of $250 or more will be matched by Foundation Recognition Points from Rob Seitz, to move you towards the next level; 3) Any single donation of $500 or above made to PolioPlus before June 30th will be matched in cash by the Blane Foundation.
Think about it: for new PHF members, a donation of $250 to PolioPlus will be matched by $750 from the club and Blane Foundation. Can’t beat that deal! Join our friend Rosemary Heilemann, who made this commitment at last week’s meeting. Another suggestion: consider joining the District’s PolioPlus Society. Members commit to donating at least $100/year to PolioPlus until the disease is eradicated. See details on slide 20 of the pdf.
