Last week's meeting

Last week our speaker was Brad Swanson, the founder and co-director of SaLT Student Travel.  He has served students throughout Chicagoland as a teacher, coach and administrator for the past 20+ years. He takes pride in creating opportunities for all students to learn and grow through meaningful experiences both inside and outside of the classroom. Brad’s commitment to the life-changing power of service-learning fuels his daily work with SaLT.

SaLT (Serving and Learning Together) Student Travel combines meaningful educational programming, significant service activities and exciting local attractions of unique world-class locations. Students are engaged in rewarding experiences that directly benefit the local community, expand their personal knowledge, and challenge their current understanding of societal needs. Students create long-lasting relationships as they have the unique opportunity to work side-by-side with friends for a common purpose greater than themselves.
