Last week Past District Governor Don Brewer visited our club to give Past President Ryan the 2017-18 Presidential Citation Award for all of the club's accomplishments during Ryan's term.
Our speaker was Dr. Nathan Gerowitz and the topic was "Fit to Sit." He told us that sitting is the new smoking. Research has linked sitting with obesity, high blood pressure, high blood sugar, abnormal cholesterol, cardiovascular disease and cancer. Dr. Nathan then taught us quick, easy ways to protect our bodies and have more energy.
