Last week Cathy Novak told us about a Make-a-Wish Fundraiser on Thursday, September 14 from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Community Arts Center that is being sponsored by the BG Singers, who are celebrating their 24th anniversary with the Buffalo Grove Park District. The Community Grant Committee, chaired by Deenie, awarded a grant to the Northern Illinois Food Bank representative for a food pantry program that is overseen by Holly Kim, the Vernon Township Director of Constituent Affairs.
