Rotarians and Friends,
Rendezvous has arrived and we've filled the house! Thank you to Kris and her wonderful team for bringing this event together. We'll see everyone on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. at the Lodge at Lake Barrington Shores.

As I mentioned previously, there's lots going on in the next few weeks. The District Conference will be held April 28-30 at the Marriott Lincolnshire. Please attend. It's a wonderful way to meet other Rotarians, learn something and have fun!

On May 6, KidFest will be held at Citizen's Park. Please ask Steve Hollis and Kris how you can help. This is a joyous community event.

Kris will be leading the meeting this week - which will be held in the Roycroft Room. Speaker Mike Ericksen will give a presentation on the Barriers to Rotary Membership. Eric will greet you, Suzanne will take minutes and Rose will delight us with Fun and Frolic.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday evening.

Blagodaria (thank you in Bulgarian),
Maria

FATHERHOOD INITIATIVE

Fatherhood Initiative Meeting

Illinois Fatherhood Initiative (IFI) is the country's first state-wide non-profit fatherhood organization whose mission is connecting children and fathers by promoting responsible fathering and helping equip men to become better fathers or father-figures. I am the Barrington Breakfast Rotary Club Coordinator for this program. We have more than 10 BBRC members participated in selecting some of the essays "What My Father Means To Me" written by the school children onto the next level.  The winners and their dads will participate in the White Sox game. It is so touching to read these essays and choosing the winners with my Rotarian friends.
