The Barrington Breakfast Rotary Club (BBRC), one of two Rotary clubs in Barrington, was formed in 1988 by members from the Rotary Club of Barrington (Noon). We are a diverse group of professionals living and/or working in the greater Barrington area who are united in our commitment to provide humanitarian service.
 
 
  
 
 
   
PROCLAMATION
Barrington Breakfast Rotary 30th Anniversary
 
WHEREAS, Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves; and
 
WHEREAS, For more than 110 years, Rotary's people of action have used their passion, energy, and intelligence to take action on sustainable projects. From literacy and peace to water and health, Rotary is always working to better our world, and stay committed to the end; and
 
WHEREAS, The Rotary Club of Barrington Breakfast was chartered April 19, 1988; and
 
WHEREAS, BBRC is comprised of over 50 members – men and women – from Barrington area and surrounding communities in Illinois. We represent many vocations including Banking/Financial Services, Healthcare/Medicine, Physicians/Nursing, Engineering/Science, Legal/Accounting, Insurance, Sales/Marketing/Advertising, Automobile Services, Government/Education, Media/Publishing, Real Estate, Non-profit, Retail, and Construction/General Contractin; and
 
WHEREAS, Rotary is SERVICE driven.  Members take action by providing time, talent, technology and leadership to implement a number of humanitarian and educational programs locally and internationally.  They have also clocked thousands of volunteer hours of service to community projects and charitable efforts; and
 
WHEREAS, Barrington Breakfast Rotary Club is celebrating 30 years of “Service Above Self” in the Barrington area.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Karen Darch, President of the Board of Trustees for the Village of Barrington, Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois, do hereby congratulate  BARRINGTON BREAKFAST ROTARY on their 30th Anniversary and encourage all citizens to recognize its 30 years of service working to better our community.
