The RMHS Rotary Interact Club is hosting a variety of fundraisers during the week of April 25th to support ShelterBox Ukraine - a non-profit organization that will provide life-saving aid for families affected by the Ukraine crisis.
Starting on Monday, April 25th and running through Thursday, April 28th, Interact students will be in the cafeteria during all lunches collecting donations:
- Students can donate a dollar and receive a sunflower sticker - which is not only the national flower of Ukraine, but is also a world-wide symbol of peace.
- Students can also donate a dollar to vote for a teacher to get pied in the face! The top three voted for staff members will get pied, and three student winners whose names gets chosen will get to do the pieing! Winners will be announced on Friday, April 29th.
In addition to lunchtime fundraisers, Interact students will be hosting two 50/50 sports raffles at the varsity girls soccer game on Wednesday, April 27th and the varsity boys lacrosse game on Thursday, April 28th.
Finally, there will be a sunflower-themed basket that will be raffled off during RMHS Theatre's musical performance of The Addams Family on Saturday, April 30th.
All proceeds go to ShelterBox Ukraine.
