May 26, 2026.  A donation from our Rotary Club supported the purchase of 24 new school desks for students in Coatepeque, Guatemala.  The Uwara Satellite club of Vista Hermosa identified the need for the desks and partnered with the Rotary Club of Coatepeque Colomba on the purchase and delivery.  According to the Uwara Rotarians, these desks will "provide not only comfort and a better learning environment, but also dignity and motivation for the children as they continue their education and work toward a brighter future."
